Established in 1987, this club has produced many famous names in the world of lawn bowls. But we're not all lawn bowl champion calibre, Adelaide Bowling Club knows this as every week they see a huge number of social bowlers take a matt to the green.
Okay, so watching this sport on television is hardly exhilarating for the most of us, but it's actually a great fun game to play with a group of friends. This club has taken night social bowls to the next level hosting rock'n'roll bands and even DJ's! Not to mention, the club boasts amazing skyline views of the city which look even more a treat at dusk with a drink in hand. Nestled in the eastern parklands, just north of Victoria Racecourse, Adelaide Bowling Club revels in a picturesque and relaxing atmosphere set aside from the hustle and bustle of the CBD.

Function Info
For a few games of social bowls, make sure you call the club in advance, preferably the day before. Large groups are more than welcome, you'll have great fun with a big or small group either way! Don't be shy to ask for a teacher if you're unfamiliar with the rules and gameplay.
The restaurant is open for lunch a few days of the week - it's essential to make a reservation if you'd like a meal here.
The club is also open to private functions so if you'd like to book the whole venue out for a Christmas party, birthday, seminar or even a wedding; we suggest you call well in advance.
